H+B dual hopper drum machine for grinding and polishing stone.
H+B drum machine for grinding and polishing stones. Super quality machine and containers, the V-belt is Kevlar reinforced and not the normal O-ring that breaks easily. The machine comes with two rubber containers for 1 kg stones each and a complete grinding powder set with 500 grams of grinding powder in each fineness and 500 grams of polishing powder.
Grinding is done by "rumbling" the stones inside the rotating rubber containers together with water and grinding powder. There can be about 1kg of smaller stones (max. walnut size) in each container. Grind with 4 different finenesses of abrasive powder and finally polish, also in the container. The whole process takes about 4 weeks and costs less than 100 kr. in grinding powder and electricity.
Abrasive powder, silicon carbide, in grit sizes 80 - 220 - 400 - 800 is used. Aluminium oxide is used as polishing powder. In order to maximise the shine of the stones in the long run, you should use one container exclusively for polishing. If necessary, buy an extra one for this purpose.
The polished stones can be used to make jewellery, figures, mosaics... The only limit is your imagination. With a small diamond saw (no teeth, not dangerous) you can cut and shape stones. Gives you many more possibilities.

When we send parcels, we charge the actual price of the shipment, which we believe is the most fair. If you shop as a company and choose delivery, the parcel is sent as a business parcel.

- Has the postal service been too rough on your goods? Don't contact the carrier, write to us and we'll take care of it and get a new item dispatched quickly.
- We pack in recycled materials, it's not always pretty, but reusing packaging materials saves the environment a lot of CO2 emissions. Everything is packed securely :-)
