Spirator 3.5 incl. abrasive powder

Spirator and abrasive powder set for grinding and polishing stones. The rubber container can also be used with steel picks and the like to finish polish silver and other metal objects.

In the spiraliser you can both grind and polish stones and cut items such as discs and shapes. The grinding is done by vibrating the stones, water and abrasive powder in a spiral-like motion in the container where they rub against each other. There can be approximately 4kg of stones in the container. As with the drum machine, the stones should vary in size, but the spiraliser can take larger stones up to about clementine size. The spiraliser is particularly suitable for previously rounded and shaped stones.

Abrasive powder, silicon carbide, in grit sizes 80 - 220 - 400 - 800 is used. Aluminium oxide is used as polishing powder. In order to achieve optimum lustre on the stones in the long run, you should purchase a container exclusively for polishing.

The polished stones can be used to make jewellery, figures, mosaics... The only limit is your imagination. With a small diamond saw (no teeth, not dangerous) you can cut and shape stones. Gives you many more possibilities.

In addition to stone grinding, the spirator can be used for efficient deburring and polishing of metal workpieces, matting of stones and glass, and polishing of amber and shells.
